About the role
Positions are available for Special Education Paraprofessionals (Autism Support).
Responsibilities
- Support students with autism in educational settings
- Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide behavioral support and interventions
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff
- Participate in professional development activities
Requirements
- A Paraeducator Credential of Competency
- At least 48 undergraduate credits or equivalent
- Completion of the Credential of Competency for Special Education Paraeducators in Pennsylvania
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders
- Experience with behavior management techniques
