Responsibilities
- Develop customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
- Interact face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
- Meet monthly sales goals and metrics.
- Walk the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
- Renting self-storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments utilizing our Point-of-Sale System (POS), completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.
- Maintain the physical aspects of the property, including:
- Daily walks of the property
- Cleaning the units and the store grounds
- Opening and closing of the storage doors (up to 50 lbs.)
- Mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, cleaning out storage units, and similar activities
- Ensuring the facility meets company guidelines (clean restrooms, neat landscaping and parking areas, storage doors that are clean and tidy, neat decluttered office space)
Qualifications
- A positive and outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
- Experience in delivering high quality customer service to a diverse customer market.
- A self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
- Basic computer skills including MS office products.
- The ability to work Saturdays and Sundays.
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.
