New Graduate Nurse Residency - Registered Nurse (RN)

About the Role

This is a 12-month Nurse Residency Program designed to support new nurses (less than 6 months of experience) transitioning into professional practice. The RN Resident will undergo comprehensive orientation phases, including system, core, and specialty onboarding, guided by experienced leaders and preceptors.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered, evidence-based nursing care.
• Perform the nursing process and collaborate within an interprofessional team to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Support performance improvement initiatives.
• Participate in research and protocol development.
• Foster a culture of safety and excellence.
• Adhere to organizational standards and emphasize professional development and teamwork.

Requirements

• Nursing diploma or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Active RN license (single state or multi-state compact).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Skills

• Strong communication and critical thinking abilities.
• Technological proficiency, including experience with electronic health records (EHR).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
