New Graduate Emergency Department RN Residency

About the Role

This position is a New Grad RN Residency in the Emergency Department, designed to support new graduates transitioning into professional nursing. The role offers hands-on clinical training, mentorship from experienced nurses, simulation assessments, and involvement in evidence-based projects to foster professional growth in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions during admission and shifts, reporting changes promptly.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, and document care as ordered.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor responses, and notify providers of any issues.
• Provide exceptional, patient-centered care, respond to requests, and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatments, medications, and follow-up care.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program with an RN or Graduate Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 1 year.
• No prior experience needed; some travel may be required for training.
