Key Responsibilities
- Aid in the preparation of technical documentation, reports, and engineering calculations.
- Support the development and execution of technical and economic feasibility studies.
- Assist in the preparation of Process Design Packages (PDPs).
- Perform process simulations using engineering software.
- Conduct hydraulic calculations and system analyses.
- Perform thermal rating calculations for process equipment.
- Aid in process equipment sizing and specification development.
- Provide process engineering support during detailed engineering activities.
- Support field assignments related to commissioning and startup activities as required.
Compliance / Operational Responsibilities
- Work in accordance with company engineering standards and procedures.
- Maintain accuracy and quality of engineering calculations and deliverables.
- Support compliance with project requirements, schedules, and quality standards.
- Follow established engineering work processes and documentation practices.
- Maintain organized project records and technical documentation.
- Support safe engineering and operational practices.
- Participate in design reviews, project meetings, and technical discussions.
- Adhere to company policies and professional engineering standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering or higher degree.
- Strong academic performance.
- Understanding of core chemical engineering principles.
- Strong general computer skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage assigned tasks effectively under appropriate supervision.
- Willingness to travel to domestic and international project sites for short-term assignments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with process simulation software such as Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, PRO/II, CHEMCAD, or similar tools.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
- Eligibility and willingness to obtain EIT certification.
- Internship, co-op, or project experience related to process engineering, energy, petrochemical, or industrial facilities.
