Key Responsibilities

  • Aid in the preparation of technical documentation, reports, and engineering calculations.
  • Support the development and execution of technical and economic feasibility studies.
  • Assist in the preparation of Process Design Packages (PDPs).
  • Perform process simulations using engineering software.
  • Conduct hydraulic calculations and system analyses.
  • Perform thermal rating calculations for process equipment.
  • Aid in process equipment sizing and specification development.
  • Provide process engineering support during detailed engineering activities.
  • Support field assignments related to commissioning and startup activities as required.

Compliance / Operational Responsibilities

  • Work in accordance with company engineering standards and procedures.
  • Maintain accuracy and quality of engineering calculations and deliverables.
  • Support compliance with project requirements, schedules, and quality standards.
  • Follow established engineering work processes and documentation practices.
  • Maintain organized project records and technical documentation.
  • Support safe engineering and operational practices.
  • Participate in design reviews, project meetings, and technical discussions.
  • Adhere to company policies and professional engineering standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering or higher degree.
  • Strong academic performance.
  • Understanding of core chemical engineering principles.
  • Strong general computer skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage assigned tasks effectively under appropriate supervision.
  • Willingness to travel to domestic and international project sites for short-term assignments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with process simulation software such as Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, PRO/II, CHEMCAD, or similar tools.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
  • Eligibility and willingness to obtain EIT certification.
  • Internship, co-op, or project experience related to process engineering, energy, petrochemical, or industrial facilities.
