About the role
Gifford’s year-long Nurse Residency Program supports new nurses as they transition from the classroom to the bedside with confidence.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and provider orders.
- Participate in a team-oriented approach to patient care.
- Communicate in a positive and professional manner.
- Educate patients and families clearly and appropriately.
Requirements
- Active LPN or RN licensure in the State of Vermont
- BLS certification
- Strong time management skills
- The ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
