About the role

This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.

Responsibilities

  • Work on launch vehicles, space vehicles, and launch facility systems for New Glenn.
  • Provide leadership in maintaining critical ground safety compliance products for the New Glenn launch vehicle program.
  • Support regulatory compliance efforts on the NG program with the US Space Force Space Launch Deltas 45 and 30.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships across the New Glenn program and our US government partners at the US Space Force.
  • Develop, deliver, and communicate results in support of Range Safety Compliance.
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the SSCMAN 91-710 requirements.
  • Perform at a high-level in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be an incredible team member!

Requirements

  • Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering or an equivalent technical management field.
  • Meaningful and demonstrable experience with Range Safety requirements (e.g., SSCMAN 91-710).
  • Proven experience with large-scale, development aerospace programs.
  • Solid understanding of project management and resource planning practices.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • Excellent judgement and comfort making high-quality and high-velocity decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong track record of product ownership.
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as Confluence and JIRA.

Qualifications

  • U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e. current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Skills

  • Working knowledge of the SSCMAN 91-710 requirements.

Pay

Base Pay Range For CA applicants is $121,023.00 - $169,432.20 CO applicants is $110,938.00 - $155,312.85 WA applicants is $121,023.00 - $169,432.20 Other Site Ranges May Differ
