About the role

This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.

Responsibilities

  • Supports regulatory compliance efforts on the NG program with the US Space Force Space Launch Deltas 45 and 30.
  • Maintains critical ground safety compliance products for the New Glenn launch vehicle program.
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships across the New Glenn program and our US government partners at the US Space Force.
  • Provides leadership in maintaining critical ground safety compliance products for the New Glenn launch vehicle program.
  • Develops, delivers, and communicates results in support of Range Safety Compliance.
  • Develops, delivers, and communicates results in support of Range Safety Compliance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering or an equivalent technical management field
  • Meaningful and demonstrable experience with Range Safety requirements (e.g., SSCMAN 91-710)
  • Proven experience with large-scale, development aerospace program
  • Solid understanding of project management and resource planning practices
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Excellent judgement and comfortable making high-quality and high-velocity decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong track record of product ownership
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as Confluence and JIRA

Pay

Base Pay Range For CA applicants is $121,023.00 - $169,432.20 CO applicants is $110,938.00 - $155,312.85 WA applicants is $121,023.00 - $169,432.20 Other Site Ranges May Differ
