About the role
Greenpark is looking for a New Business Director to lead new client acquisition across North America, based in New York. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role for someone who wants to build a market from a position of real proof points. You will own the full new business cycle: pipeline generation, positioning, pitch leadership, and close, working closely with the Chairman & CEO, Group MD, and regional leadership.
This role suits someone who has sold complex marketing, media, data, or technology services into large enterprise and Fortune 500 clients, who is comfortable being the face of new business in market, and who wants to help shape a category as it forms.
Responsibilities
- Build and own the New Business function for North America, with full accountability for pipeline, forecasting, and revenue targets
- Develop and execute an outbound strategy targeting CMOs, Heads of Digital, Heads of Content, and innovation leads across FMCG, pharma, luxury, beauty, hospitality, and financial services
- Lead the full sales cycle from first outreach through proposal, pitch, and contract close, partnering with strategy, product, and delivery teams to build compelling, credible proposals
- Represent Greenpark's proprietary AI Discovery products, translating technical capability into commercial value for prospective clients
- Build and maintain a senior network across existing and target client organizations, industry bodies, and relevant conferences and events
- Work closely with the CEO and Group MD on account-based marketing, thought leadership, and market positioning for North America
- Represent Greenpark at industry events, panels, and client meetings across the region
- Feed market and competitive intelligence back into product and proposition development
Requirements
- 8 or more years of new business, sales, or growth leadership experience in a marketing, media, data, martech, or consulting environment
- A demonstrated track record of closing six- and seven-figure annual contracts with large enterprise or Fortune 500 clients
- Existing relationships with senior marketing decision-makers in one or more of FMCG, pharma, luxury, beauty, or hospitality
- Fluency in AI, search, content, and digital marketing landscapes, and genuine curiosity about how AI is reshaping brand discovery
- Confidence operating as an individual contributor and market builder, comfortable with ambiguity and pace
- Sharp commercial instincts paired with the ability to build credible, consultative relationships rather than transactional ones
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and strong presence in senior client rooms
- Alignment with Greenpark’s core values: We Strive, Acting Together, With Kindness—championing openness, respect, innovation, and teamwork
Benefits
- 25 days of holidays + US bank holidays and your birthday off
- Christmas Closure (extra days on top of your holiday allowance)
- A monthly entertainment subscription paid by the company (e.g., Amazon Prime, Netflix, Spotify, etc.)
- Access to VDU Eye Tests and Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
- Participate in wellness and peer recognition initiatives (e.g., On The Spot Awards and Value Champion Awards)
- LinkedIn Learning—access to a leading online learning platform offering courses in business, creative, and technical skills
- Referral Bonus Scheme
