New Board Members
Ongoing call for volunteer board members at Accidental Theatre, a charity that operates as both an in-person and online venue and media creation hub. Located in one of Belfast’s most diverse neighbourhoods, Accidental Theatre supports local artists in reaching national and international audiences while serving as a cultural refuge for the community.
About the role
Accidental Theatre is seeking new board members on an interim basis. While applicants from any professional background will be considered, those with skills and experience in the following areas are particularly welcome:
- Strategic planning
- Finance & accounting
- Business development
- Marketing & PR
- Fundraising
Ideal candidates will have a passion for the arts and a commitment to advancing the organisation amid challenging economic conditions. Board members should embrace Accidental’s ambition to balance the unexpected with the impossible.
Responsibilities
- Attend at least four two-hour board meetings per year, held in Belfast city centre
- Act as an ambassador and champion for the company by supporting Accidental events and initiatives
Beyond these commitments, the time you contribute can be as flexible as you like.
