Com-Span Inc. is a long-standing not-for-profit organization dedicated to creating opportunities for people with physical and intellectual disabilities to actively participate in life skills, leisure, and recreational activities. Based in Winnipeg, Com-Span delivers excellence in day programming with core values of inclusiveness, respect, community, and organizational excellence.
About the Role
Com-Span Inc. is seeking interested individuals to join its Board of Directors to support projects and committees in the following areas:
- Fundraising and Grants
- Finance and Foundation
- Planning and Marketing
- Policy and Procedures
- Board Recruitment and Retention
Responsibilities
The Board meets monthly, with the option to attend in person or virtually. Volunteers will contribute to governance, strategic planning, and organizational oversight.
Requirements
- Dedicated and passionate individuals with diverse skills and experiences
- Strong commitment to supporting and enriching Com-Span’s mission
- Willingness to undergo a criminal record check (cost reimbursed)
- Accessibility: Opportunity is available to candidates who use a mobility device

Time Commitment: Evening, remote volunteering (monthly meetings)
