Neurosurgery APP - Full-Time, No Call

About the role

This position provides neurosurgical patient care as a Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA). Duties include inpatient consults and follow‑ups, assisting in surgeries as a first assist (primarily procedures and wound closures), and managing outpatient clinic responsibilities for pre‑ and post‑operative care.

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient neurosurgery consults and follow‑ups (average four per day).
• Assist in surgeries, focusing on procedural assistance and wound closure.
• Manage outpatient clinic duties for pre‑operative and post‑operative patients.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.

Qualifications

• Current PA‑C certification and eligibility for Pennsylvania licensure.
• Open to new graduates; comprehensive training and mentorship provided.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical assessment skills.
• Interest in neurosurgery or surgical specialties is preferred.
