Neurosurgery Advanced Practice Provider - Full-Time, No Call

About the role

As a Neurosurgery NP or PA, you will provide inpatient neurosurgery consults, follow-ups, and assist in surgical procedures, primarily focusing on wound closure and assisting in the operating room. You will also participate in outpatient clinics for pre- and post-operative care, collaborating closely with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient management.

Responsibilities

• Perform neurosurgery consults and follow-ups (average 4 daily)
• Serve as first assist in surgeries, mainly wound closure and assisting with procedures
• Manage patients in outpatient clinics pre- and post-surgery
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and staff to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Current PA-C certification and eligibility for Pennsylvania licensure
• New graduates encouraged to apply with comprehensive training provided

Skills

• Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical assessment skills
• Interest in neurosurgery or surgical specialties preferred
