About the role

The ideal candidate will be joining the Neurosurgery Team at Portneuf Medical Group, a dynamic and growth-oriented organization serving patients and communities across southeast Idaho.

Responsibilities

• Assist Neurosurgeons in the operating room and clinic
• Assess, Plan, and Treat patients in coordination with the patient, family, and clinical team
• Work in both the hospital and clinic settings

Requirements

• Operating Room experience as an ACNP or PA is required
• Hospital Medical Group employed position
• 205 bed hospital, including 20 ICU beds, Level II Trauma Center

Candidate Qualifications

• Team-oriented, down to earth, flexible, and friendly personality
• Excellent organization, follow-up, and communication skills
• Graduate from an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Licensed in the state of Idaho as a PA or ACNP by the time of employment
• Idaho Board of Pharmacy Controlled Substance licensure by the time of employment
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
