Neurosurgery ACNP/PA (APP III)

About the role

Lee Physician Group Neurosurgery is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (AGAC-NP or PA) to join their busy and ever-growing practice. Candidates for this position will be interested in both outpatient and inpatient neurosurgery and assisting in surgery. This is a full-time position for neurosurgery and is Monday-Friday with a weekend call rotation every 9 weeks. The ideal candidate will have a surgical background, Surgical rotations during clinicals is acceptable. Lee Health utilizes EPIC EHR and dictation software in both settings. This position requires a strong understanding of neuroanatomy, neurological diseases and neurosurgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures under the supervision of a licensed physician
• Diagnose and treat neurological conditions
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Provide patient education and counseling

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Current license to practice as an Advanced Practice Provider in Florida
• Experience in neurosurgery or related field preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of neuroanatomy and neurological diseases

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field preferred
• Completion of relevant residency program
• Passing scores on relevant certification exams
