Surgical Critical Care APP (PA/ACNP)

About the role

Nationally recognized 345-bed tertiary hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center with two 12-bed Surgical ICUs (SICU & CTICU). Collaborative team of 12 APPs, 14 Intensivists, and Residents. Diverse patient population including Cardiothoracic, Trauma, Transplant, and Neurosurgery.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care for critically ill surgical patients.
• Manage ventilators, resuscitation, hemodynamics, ECMO, vasopressors/inotropes.
• Perform procedures such as invasive lines and chest tubes (based on ability).
• Rotate between SICU and CTICU.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts PA license required.
• Must work nights and weekends.
• Preferred: 2+ years of Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, or Cardiothoracic Surgery experience.
• Preferred: Critical Care Fellowship.
• Influenza vaccination required as a condition of employment.

Pay

Annual base salary range: $133,120.00 – $215,000.00 USD. Actual compensation determined based on factors such as seniority, education, training, relevant experience, certifications, geography, job responsibilities, or other factors permissible by law.

Schedule

This position requires night and weekend shifts.
