About the role

Join the Department of Neurosurgery at Lahey Clinic, one of Massachusetts’s premier Health Care Organizations, as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in our expanding academic practice in Neurosurgery.

Provide inpatient care in a practice that emphasizes clinical excellence. Opportunity to interact with attending neurosurgeons, residents, and nurses in a supportive and caring environment. Our department is dedicated to clinical expertise, education, and research in a cooperative and compassionate environment. We are part of a comprehensive Neuroscience Center, which includes Neurology, Neurocritical Care, Neurosurgery, Radiology, and Interventional Neuroradiology.

Experience

• Direct patient care in an inpatient setting
• NP/PA experience preferable
• Previous experience in Neurosurgery preferable

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including clinical documentation
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Ability to function clinically both as an autonomous provider and as a member of an interdisciplinary team
• Able to work with confidential information, clinical recordkeeping, and use computer applications such as Epic and Microsoft

Licensure, Certification, Registration

• Current licensure as an advanced practice provider in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Certification as a Physician Assistant
• Prescriptive authority for controlled substances in Massachusetts and DEA registration for controlled substances

Pay

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay: $133,120.00 USD - $215,000.00 USD. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, including seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
