About the role
The LPN will provide direct, individualized, goal-directed, and effective patient care under the supervision of the RN. This role includes administering medications, reporting patient symptoms and conditions to the RN, and may involve new hire and annual health screenings for Employee Health.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications as per the nursing care plan
- Report patient symptoms and conditions to the RN
- Participate in new hire and annual health screenings for Employee Health
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active LPN license required
- BLS certification required
- Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) may be required based on department assignment
Qualifications
- Completed an LPN program
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and relevant computer software
- Strong team leadership and organizational skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to remain calm in difficult situations
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
