NEURORADIOLOGY Physician -- Remote/Hybrid

Job Summary

The applicant will provide clinical coverage for the Division of Neuroradiology and should demonstrate comprehensive expertise across all areas of the specialty, including interpretation of neuro radiographs, as well as CT and MRI studies of the brain, head, neck, and spine. The team is seeking an individual who is open to flexible scheduling and interested in incentive pay tied to patient read targets. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working collaboratively and collegially within a diverse and inclusive environment.

Qualifications

  • Active and Unrestricted California Medical License
  • Active and Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certification
  • Board Certified in Medical Specialty
  • American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS), or UC Davis Health CPR
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) Degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Degree
  • Completion of US Residency Program in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Completion of a US Residency Program
  • Strong Political and institutional acumen sufficient to accomplish needed action in a complex public research university environment
  • Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position
  • Computer and keyboarding skills to use Electronic Medical Records software program

Preferred Qualifications

  • Radiology Subspecialty Fellowship Certification in Neuroradiology
  • Fellowship training in neuroradiology
  • Clinical expertise in all aspects of neuroradiology, including interpreting neuro radiographs, CT and MR of the brain head, neck and spine
  • Knowledge of University and campus policies and procedures preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including presentation skills in large and small group settings

Work Environment

UC Davis is a smoke and tobacco free campus effective January 1, 2014.
