About the role
The applicant will provide clinical coverages for the Neuroradiology services. Must have clinical expertise in all aspects of neuroradiology, including imaging of the brain, head and neck, spine, and pediatric neuroimaging; experience in caring for neuroradiology patients; experience in and ability to teach and supervise medical students, residents and fellows; and have the ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment.

Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position
- Possession of the legal requirements for the practice of medicine in CA as determined by the CA Board of Medical Quality Assurance
- Hold current California Medical License
- CA Medical Board Eligible
- Expertise in all aspects of neuroradiology, including imaging of the brain, head and neck, spine, and pediatric neuroimaging
- Experience in diagnostic Cardiothoracic radiology
- At the title code 0771 – Associate Physician, must be ABR board eligible
- No Minimum Work Experience required
- Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills
- Skills to analyze needs, establishing priorities, and provide appropriate medical care and preventive medicine services to the Campus community
- Knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position
- Computer and keyboarding skills to use Electronic Medical Records software program
- This position is a critical position and subject to a background check
- Mets the credentialing and privileging standards for UCDHS medical staff
- Fellowship training in Neuroradiology
- Clinical expertise in all aspects of neuroradiology, including imaging of the brain, head and neck, spine, and pediatric neuroimaging
- Experience in and ability to teach and supervise medical students, residents and fellows
- Completion completed a residency program in Diagnostic Radiology at an accredited institution, and radiology subspecialty fellowship in Cardiothoracic Radiology
- Works at a computer terminal for extended periods of time
- Knowledge of University and campus policies and procedures preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including presentation skills in large and small group settings
- Strong political and institutional acumen sufficient to accomplish needed action in a complex public research university environment
