Neurophysiology Technologist II EEG

Summary

The Neurophysiology Technologist II is a mid-level position in the Neurophysiology Department. This role performs EEGs, LTVM EEGs, and Ambulatory EEGs according to department policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Use the 10/20 and 10/10 systems for EEG electrode placement
• Use collodian to apply EEG electrodes
• Troubleshoot equipment
• Have a working knowledge of Neuroanatomy and Neurophysiology
• Identify EEG normal variants and abnormalities
• Provide quality EEG recordings based on patient medical history and EEG findings
• Demonstrate a flexible and positive attitude
• Collaborate well with team members and management
• Be a clinical instructor for students
• Perform research procedures

Requirements

• Credentials with Equivalent Qualifications: Registered EEG Technician
• Education with Equivalent Qualifications: Associates Degree in Electroneurodiagnostics Technology
• Experience with Equivalent Qualifications: 1 Year job experience as Staff Level with specialization in the field of Imaging Diagnostic
