About the role

MercyOne North Iowa Neurology is seeking a full-time neurologist to join a dynamic team of providers. The position offers a competitive compensation package, including a $370,000 salary and $100,000 bonus package. Full benefits package is also provided, including paid malpractice and tail coverage, $6,000 CME/year, 2 retirement plans, generous PTO package, and up to $15,000 in moving allowance.

Shift Description

Inpatient/Outpatient split

Sub-specialty interest in EEG, EMG, Epilepsy, Sleep, MS, and Movement Disorders welcome in the context of general Neurology

Teaching opportunity for Internal Medicine and Family Medicine Residents and medical students

Participate in Grand Rounds

Non-burdensome call

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive neurological care to patients
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient needs are met
  • Contribute to the educational mission of the department through teaching and mentoring
  • Participate in research activities as available

Requirements

  • Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school
  • Demonstrated competency as a physician by completion of an appropriate residency program; board certified or board eligible
  • Able to obtain Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa medical staff privileges
  • Above average communication skills
  • Able to work with a team
  • Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa physician license
  • Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate
