About the Role

Premier Physician Network (PPN) and Wright State University’s Boonshoft School of Medicine (BSOM) are seeking full-time faculty physicians specializing in the Neurosciences. These positions offer a unique opportunity to join a collaborative team that blends academic medicine with clinical practice across Dayton and the surrounding region. As a faculty member, you will play an integral role in educating and training medical students, residents, and fellows, while providing care to a diverse patient population in a variety of clinical settings.

Enjoy the benefits of hospital employment with academic affiliation, including a neurology residency program with residents providing 24/7 in-hospital support and APP support for both inpatient and outpatient care.

Currently hiring for General Neurology, Neurohospitalist, and subspecialties including Epilepsy, Stroke, Movement Disorders, Neuromuscular, Headache, and Minimally Invasive Spine. Flexible options for minimal call coverage (one hospital only) or more inpatient coverage if desired.

In this role, you will contribute to improving patient outcomes, advancing clinical innovation, and shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals within Premier Health, one of the largest and most comprehensive healthcare systems in Southwest Ohio, in partnership with Wright State University’s Boonshoft School of Medicine.

Responsibilities

  • Educate and train medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Provide clinical care to a diverse patient population in various settings
  • Contribute to clinical research and innovation in neurosciences
  • Participate in grant-funded research and clinical trials
  • Engage in academic and clinical collaboration between Premier Health and Wright State University

Qualifications

  • Specialization in Neurosciences (General Neurology, Neurohospitalist, or subspecialties such as Epilepsy, Stroke, Movement Disorders, Neuromuscular, Headache, or Minimally Invasive Spine)
  • Eligibility for faculty appointment at Wright State University’s Boonshoft School of Medicine
