About the Role

Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM) is seeking outstanding Neurology faculty physicians to join our academic department in Atlanta, Georgia. These positions provide an opportunity to combine exceptional patient care with medical education, resident and student mentorship, scholarly activity, and academic program development. While several specialty faculty opportunities are highlighted below, qualified neurologists from all fellowship-trained subspecialties, as well as exceptional general neurologists, are encouraged to apply.

Faculty Positions Available

General Neurology Faculty
Location: Grady Health System | Atlanta, Georgia

• Comprehensive outpatient and inpatient neurology care
• Resident continuity clinic supervision and teaching
• Medical student and resident education
• Participation in clinical program development and scholarly activities

Vascular Neurology Faculty
Location: Grady Health System | Atlanta, Georgia

• Inpatient and outpatient stroke care
• Stroke specialty services and program development
• Resident and medical student education
• Clinical mentorship and academic support

Neuromuscular Medicine Faculty
Location: Grady Health System | Atlanta, Georgia

• Neuromuscular consultations
• EMG services
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary specialty programs
• Resident and medical student education
• Participation in clinical and academic initiatives

Neuro-Oncology Faculty
Location: Grady Health System | Atlanta, Georgia

• Neuro-oncology patient care
• Collaboration with oncology programs
• Teaching and mentorship of learners
• Participation in research and program development

Headache Medicine Faculty
Location: Atlanta VA Medical Center | Atlanta, Georgia

• Specialty headache care
• Resident continuity clinic teaching
• Educational activities and program development

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent degree
• Board certification or eligibility in Neurology
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Georgia
• Strong commitment to clinical excellence and medical education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of professionalism

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching medical students and/or residents
• Interest in scholarly activity, clinical research, or quality improvement
• Commitment to mentorship and academic leadership
