About the Role
- Academic appointment with East Carolina University at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Professor
- Hospital privileges at ECU Health Medical Center
- Primarily outpatient clinical care with occasional inpatient responsibility associated with attending duties of the residency program
- Support from an experienced Nurse Practitioner designated to help see cognitive patients
- Monday through Friday, 8 am–5 pm schedule with no call
- Opportunity to be part of the ACGME neurology residency program
Available resources include an on-site infusion suite, in-office lab, EEG, EMG and nerve conduction studies, and an ALS clinic.
Team & Environment
You will join an established clinical neuroscience team of 10 neurosurgeons (including dual-trained cerebrovascular specialists) and 20+ neurologists (including an interventional neurologist, 4 vascular neurologists, 4 neurointensivists, and 13 subspecialty neurologists). Subspecialties include pediatric neurology, epilepsy, movement disorders, headache, neuromuscular, sleep medicine, and intraoperative monitoring. The team is further supported by a large group of inpatient and outpatient Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
