Neurology (Locum Tenens)

About the role

This position is for a Neurology Hospitalist providing inpatient care in Northern California. The role involves rounding on neurology patients, managing consultations, and treating conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, movement disorders, dementias, brain tumors, and neurotrauma. Candidates must have expertise in stroke and EEG interpretation. The provider will handle an inpatient volume of 14-16 patients daily.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient neurology rounding and consults
• Management of active stroke patients
• Performing EEGs

Qualifications

• Experience in neurology, stroke, epilepsy, neurotrauma, or related fields
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• Ability to respond promptly during call shifts

Schedule

Participate in 24‑hour call shifts with a 10‑hour on‑site and 14‑hour off‑site period, requiring a 15‑minute response time.
