Neurology Headache - Full Time NP/PA

About the role

Atrium Health Neurosciences Institute – Neurology seeks a qualified Neurology Advanced Practice Professional (PA/NP) to join our outpatient team and provide care to patients in our Headache Clinic at Atrium Health Neurology-Southpark.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation and treatment for new referrals as well as established headache patients.
• Collaborate closely with our neurology providers to provide continuity care for our headache patients.
• Invest in the professional and clinical growth of our Neurology APP team offering numerous leadership, academic, and research opportunities.
• Support the ongoing education of our team and learners (other APPs, APP students/fellows, nurses, and new clinical teammates).

Requirements

• Prior APP experience in Neurology, Primary Care, urgent care or ED strongly preferred.
• Driven and passionate about innovation and collaboration.
• Strong clinical knowledge base with academic desire.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the state of North Carolina.
• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Experience in headache management and related neurological conditions.

• Strong clinical decision-making skills.

Pay

$47.50 - $71.25 per hour.

Schedule

Monday-Friday, option for a 4 day work week if desired, No call, No weekends, No holidays.
