Neurology - Full-Time NP/PA

About the role

The Atrium Health Neurology team at Atrium Health Neurology Cabarrus in Concord, NC is seeking a qualified Neurology Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) to join their outpatient team and provide care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Treat the full scope of general neurology patients in the outpatient clinic setting with a focus on stroke and general neurology hospital follow-ups.
• Work closely with the inpatient team to facilitate the transition of care process.
• Engage with other members of the interdisciplinary team to help drive quality initiatives and reduce readmissions.
• Participate in the education of learners (other APPs, students/APP fellows, nurses, and new clinical teammates).
• Support transition of care initiatives.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as an APP with experience in Neurology strongly preferred.
• Strong clinical knowledge base with academic desire.
• Driven and passionate for innovation, education, and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the state of North Carolina.
• Completion of a residency program in Neurology.

Pay

$48.80 for new graduates, higher compensation based on years of experience.

Schedule

Desirable schedule with option of 4 or 5 day work weeks.
