Overview
Atrium Health Floyd invites Advanced Practice Professionals (NP & PA) to join the Neurology team. The team treats neurological disorders and head, neck, and spine injuries. The clinic is located on the Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center Campus in Rome, GA.
About the Role
Qualified candidates should have strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, previous experience in Neurology (preferred), and be an Advanced Practice Professional (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate).
Responsibilities
- Treatment of neurological disorders and head, neck, and spine injuries
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Assessment and management of patient conditions
- Documentation of patient care
- Participation in continuing education and professional development
Requirements
- Advanced Practice Professional (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate)
- Current license to practice in Georgia
- Experience in Neurology (preferred)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
- Current license to practice as an NP or PA in Georgia
- Completion of an accredited NP or PA program
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN or PANCE
Skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Effective problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of Neurology principles and practices
