Inpatient Neurology - Full-Time NP/PA

About the role

The Atrium Health Floyd Neurology team works with patients who require surgical and non-surgical treatment of neurological disorders, as well as head, neck and spine injuries. This clinic is located on the Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center Campus in Rome, GA.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced practice professional services in Neurology
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as directed
• Assess and manage patient conditions, providing appropriate interventions and referrals as needed
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development activities

Requirements

• Advanced Practice Professional (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate)
• Previous experience in Neurology preferred

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as an NP or PA in the state of Georgia
• Comprehensive knowledge of Neurology principles and practices
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
