General Neurology - Full Time NP/PA

About the role

The APP will participate in the education of learners (other APPs, students/APP fellows, nurses, and new clinical teammates) and with our operational leaders and stroke program coordinator to help support transition of care initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Treat the full scope of general neurology patients in our outpatient clinic.
• Provide patient-centered care in an environment focused on community health.
• See 12-16 patients per day with consults, follow-ups, hospital follow-ups and procedures (including botox for migraine).
• Support transition of care initiatives with learners and operational leaders.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as APP required.
• Experience in Neurology strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Current license to practice as an APP in the state of North Carolina.
• Completion of an APP residency program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).

Skills

• Strong clinical knowledge base.
• Ability to see patients autonomously with support from other APPs and MDs.
• Continuous access to a network of neurologists virtually.

Pay

$47.50 - $71.25 per hour.

Schedule

Monday-Friday, possible 4 day work week, No holidays, No call, no weekends.
