Neurology Headache - Full Time NP/PA

About the role

Atrium Health Neurosciences Institute – Neurology seeks a qualified Neurology Advanced Practice Professional (PA/NP) to join their outpatient team and provide care to patients in their Headache Clinic at Atrium Health Neurology-Southpark. This is a rare opportunity to join a brand-new clinic location with their team of experienced neurology providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation and treatment for new referrals as well as established headache patients.
• Collaborate closely with neurology providers to provide continuity care for headache patients.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support the ongoing education of the team and learners.
• Engage in leadership, academic, and research opportunities offered by the organization.

Requirements

• Prior APP experience in Neurology, Primary Care, urgent care, or ED strongly preferred.
• Driven and passionate about innovation and collaboration, as this will be a new area of practice for the expanding APP team.
• Strong clinical knowledge base with an academic desire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in PA or NP.
• Current license to practice as a PA or NP in the state of North Carolina.
• Experience in headache management and related neurological conditions.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Pay

$47.50 - $71.25 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Monday-Friday, option for a 4 day work week if desired, No call, No weekends, No holidays.
