Neurologist - Headache Specialist

About the role

The position requires board certification/board eligibility in Neurology, with subspecialty expertise/interest in Headache. The ideal candidate will have prior headache fellowship training or UCNS Board eligibility for Headache Management. The candidate will join a collegial, well-established and growing Neurology group.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for patients with headache disorders
• Collaborate with other neurologists and specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans
• Contribute to clinical research and education initiatives
• Participate in hospital-based practices and patient consultations

Requirements

• Board certification/board eligibility in Neurology
• Subspecialty expertise/interest in Headache
• Prior headache fellowship training or UCNS Board eligibility for Headache Management

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Completion of an accredited ACGME/ACGME-approved residency program in Neurology
• Successful completion of a recognized headache fellowship program

• Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and treating headache disorders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting
• Proficiency in electronic medical records systems
