Neurodiagnostic Tech II

About the role

The Neurodiagnostic Technician is responsible for obtaining standard and complex recordings, as well as special procedures, EEG recording and advanced testing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Obtain standard and complex recordings, as well as special procedures: EEG recording and advanced testing procedures.
• Able to be on-call for EEG and LTM patients.
• Able to do all inpatient, outpatient and portable EEG testing.
• Able to hook up/clean up and take call for Long Term Video Monitoring testing.
• Selects predetermined electrode combinations as necessary by the history of each individual patient.
• Applies suitable electrodes as needed per study utilizing the 10/20 International Electrode Placement System.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of site personnel general orientation.
• Successful completion of department specific orientation.
• Successful completion of all required orientation programs.
• BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 1 year of neurodiagnostic experience.
• EEG Tech Certification required within 1 year of hire.

Qualifications

Pay

• $28.41 - $37.42 per hour.
