About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing electroencephalogram (EEG) procedures under the supervision of a neurologist. This includes preparing patients, attaching electrodes, monitoring brain activity, and analyzing results.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for EEG procedures
• Attach electrodes to patients' heads according to protocol
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning
• Monitor brain activity during procedures
• Analyze EEG results and document findings
• Communicate with patients and staff to ensure their comfort and safety
• Follow all hospital policies and procedures related to patient care and safety

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field
• Current certification in Electroencephalography (EEG)
• Experience in EEG procedures preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey licensure as an EEG technologist
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office

Pay

The pay rate is $36.42 per hour.

Schedule

Shifts are typically from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
