About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing electroencephalogram (EEG) procedures under the supervision of a neurologist. This includes preparing patients, attaching electrodes, monitoring brain activity, and analyzing results.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for EEG procedures
- Attach electrodes to patients' heads according to protocol
- Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning
- Monitor brain activity during procedures
- Analyze EEG results and document findings
- Communicate with patients and staff to ensure their comfort and safety
- Follow all hospital policies and procedures related to patient care and safety
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field
- Current certification in Electroencephalography (EEG)
- Experience in EEG procedures preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Current New Jersey licensure as an EEG technologist
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office

Pay
The pay rate is $36.42 per hour.
Schedule
