Neurocritical Care Overnight APP

Job Summary

Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join their Neurocritical Care team in an overnight role with a 7-on/7-off schedule.

Core Job Responsibilities

• Performing admissions and consultations
• Managing daily patient care
• Conducting neurological assessments
• Interpreting diagnostic results
• Developing treatment plans to support optimal outcomes
• Participating in rapid response situations and critical care emergencies as needed

Education/Experience Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner's Program OR certification from an accredited NP program OR completion of an accredited Physician Assistant Program required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical setting.
• Able to meet and maintain credentialing requirements and hospital privileges.
• Knowledge and competency in a wide range of clinical areas. Familiar with EHR/EMR software.

Licensure/Certification Requirements

• Current NYS Nurse Practitioner licenses OR Current NYS license as a Physician Assistant with prescription privileges.
• Current BCLS, ACLS certifications.
• Possession of Active ANCC certification in relevant specialty.
