Neuro Step Down Nurse (Full-Time)

About the role

This full-time nursing position involves providing direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established care standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote patient- and family-centered care in a healing environment, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participate in activities that enhance patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans with collaborative input from patients, families, and the interprofessional team, ensuring effective communication across the care continuum.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs using critical nursing skills, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree; RN licensure required.
• Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
• This is a safety-sensitive role requiring alertness and safe work practices.
