Neuro ICU Nurse - Night Shift

About the role

This position involves providing direct patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring adherence to nursing standards. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and participation in safety, quality, and regulatory activities. The nurse collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to develop and communicate individualized care plans, considering physical, psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs. The position requires working in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Promote compassionate, patient-centered care and educate patients/families on care management.
• Participate in safety, quality, and professional development activities.
• Develop, implement, and document personalized care plans in collaboration with team members and patients.
• Assess patient needs holistically, respecting individual values and barriers.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree; Bachelor's preferred.
• Licenses: Valid RN license.
• Experience: No experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.
• Skills: Critical thinking, communication, teamwork, cultural competence.

Schedule

Shifts: 3 (12-hour) night shifts, every 3rd weekend, with flexible scheduling.
