About the role
Monitors, controls, and isolates problems in a data communications network. Monitors all network activity. Activates/deactivates network lines according to established schedules. Performs first- and/or second-level problem determination (first level is help desk). Interfaces with users and/or network vendors. Provides technical support for LAN/WAN or for a section of a larger network. May perform installation, modification, and testing of network.

- Interface with users and network vendors
- Provide technical support for LAN/WAN or network segments
- Install, modify, and test network components
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree and 4 years of relevant experience; OR Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of relevant experience (2 years of experience may substitute for Associate’s Degree)
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance (U.S. Citizenship or Green Card required)
- Technical skills and experience related to cloud networking
- Effective interpersonal, briefing, and writing skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, team environment with minimal supervision
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, SCOM, SolarWinds, Zscaler support, and Azure Network
- Current Network and ITIL 4 certifications
- Experience with a Federal or Government agency
