Monitors all network activity. Activates/deactivates network lines according to established schedules. Performs first- and/or second-level problem determination (first level is help desk). Interfaces with users and/or network vendors. Responsible providing technical support for LAN/WAN or for a section of a larger network. May perform installation, modification and testing of network. (It should be understood that this is not intended to be a detailed nor comprehensive description of any individual employee's job content. Managers set the specific duties and responsibilities for each employee). FREEDOM TO ACT General supervision and instructions given for routine work, and detailed instructions given for new activities or special assignments. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND ABILITY Considerable knowledge of the job. Complete acquaintance with and understanding of the general and detailed aspects of the job and their practical applications to problems and situations ordinarily encountered. Qualifications Associates Degree and 4 years of relevant experience; OR Bachelors and 2 years of relevant experienceAbility to obtain and maintain a public trust requiring U.S. Citizenship or Green CardTechnical skills and experience related to cloud networkingEffective interpersonal skills, and strong briefing and writing skillsAbility to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and team environment with little supervisionHands On Experience ServiceNow, SCOM, Solarwinds, Zscaler support, Azure NetworkCertification Current Network and ITIL 4 certificationsExperience with a Federal or Government Agency
