Night Shift Electrician Technician

About the role

Crown Beverage Packaging is currently seeking a qualified Electrician in our industrial manufacturing facility located in Mankato, Minnesota.

Responsibilities

• Follow all local, state, and federal electrical codes.
• Document problems and maintain equipment, operation, and safety precautions.
• Install and maintain new and existing electrical wiring within the facility.
• Work safely at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness of electrical shop and job sites, while practicing appropriate safety procedures.
• Must have the ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds on occasion and regularly stand, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
• This position may also require climbing or balancing.

Requirements

• A high school graduate with electrical troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment or applicable education (trade school, apprenticeship, etc.).
• Working knowledge of PLCs, sensors, controls and computer technology.
• An applied understanding of the NEC and general electrical safety.
• A strong team player and ability to function well and work safely with other people.
• A solid understanding of systematic troubleshooting.
• A committed to working safely.
• A reliable, proactive attitude and a desire to learn and grow.
• Must be able to work twelve (12) hour shifts on nights.
