Cable Technician - NIGHT SHIFT
About the role
This is a contract position for a few months in the Colorado Springs area. Shift hours are from 9:30 PM to 5:30 AM Sunday through Thursday (5 nights).
Responsibilities
- Navigate a data center (row/aisle/rack/equipment)
- Identify ports/equipment
- Use labeling printers
- Detail oriented
- Install patch cords based on spreadsheets (to/from)
- Run/install cabling/fiber with best data center standards (need/maintain bend radius/etc.)
- Use of test equipment when required a plus (Fluke)
Requirements
- Must have basic cabling/rack/stack/layer 1 troubleshooting skills
- Must be detail oriented and able to work alone
- 1+ years of experience as a cable technician
- CAT5, CAT6, or fiber, installation / termination

Pay
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
