TELEMETRY TECHNICIAN - Night Shift

Summary Position Highlights

Telemetry Technician is responsible for continuous observation and documentation of cardiac rhythms displayed on the telemetry monitor and for identifying and reporting any cardiac arrhythmia or changes in patient's rate or rhythm.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Knowledge of medical terminology, including basic anatomy and physiology of the heart and conduction system.
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Ability to accurately interpret rhythm strips and recognize EKG changes.
  • Must complete EKG Knowledge Assessment Tool – administered upon hire.
  • Excellent Computer skills.
  • PREFERRED: EKG Certification.
  • Successful Completion of a formal EKG Program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS).

Qualifications

  • One (1) year of experience working in a hospital or ambulatory care setting.
  • Two (2) years of EKG interpretation preferred.

Salary Range $16.00 - $21.83
Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.

Schedule
