Network Systems Engineer, Sr (TS/SCI w/Poly)

About the role

Parsons is looking for a Network and Computer Systems Administrator to support the design, development, integration, operation, and maintenance of complex technology systems while applying advanced expertise to solve unusually complex technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design and define IT networks for new or existing computer systems supporting the command or enterprise.
• Perform complex systems development and IT infrastructure design work that may include logic network design, physical network design, manufacturing and development cost projections, and IT systems engineering.
• Evaluate new network technologies and make recommendations to project managers regarding integration of these technologies into the existing network.
• Develop documentation on new or existing systems.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
• Minimum 8 years of IT Network Engineer experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related discipline; 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Active DoD 8570 IASAE Level II Certification or higher (e.g., CASP+ CE, CISSP, CSSLP).

Desired Skills

• Master's degree in a relevant field and 6+ years of experience.
• Cloud Design and Development experience.
• 2+ years hands-on experience with SharePoint Platforms (2010, 2013, 2016).
• Experience with Atlassian products (JIRA and Confluence).
• Experience with ServiceNow.
• Experience with business process automation.

Security Clearance

An active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.

Pay

Salary Range: $112,200.00 - $196,400.00
