About the role
The Network Human Resources Executive supports Adventist Health's two Central Coast hospitals, Adventist Health Sierra Vista, and Adventist Health Twin Cities. Based in San Luis Obispo and Templeton, these facilities provide comprehensive healthcare services.
Responsibilities
- Serves as the Human Resources (HR) Network Leader, advising senior management on HR policies and programs.
- Coordinates with Communities of Expertise (COEs) to tailor HR strategies to market needs.
- Assesses the impact of HR initiatives at both market and network levels.
- Participates in strategic network business planning and decision-making.
- Leverages data and business metrics to guide HR and talent programs.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to prepare reports and presentations for key business leaders.
- Anticipates and addresses complex employee relations issues.
- Maintains oversight of equity trends and collaborates with Total Rewards COE.
- Develops and supports new HR talent and oversees staff learning and development.
- Manages operational issues such as organizational design, change management, workforce planning, and analytics.
- Supports performance management, employee engagement, and compensation.
- Provides on-the-ground support to various markets as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Master's Degree preferred
- Ten years' related experience preferred
- Seven years' human resources business partnering/consulting/leadership experience preferred
- Five years' leadership experience preferred
- Society of Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) equivalent preferred
