The Role
The HR Executive Volunteer helps grow and strengthen the Cars of Hope volunteer team while increasing awareness of the organization's unique mission throughout the Chicagoland area.
Responsibilities
- Establishing clear volunteer expectations
- Developing customer interaction and service guidelines
- Supporting volunteer training and engagement initiatives
- Conducting periodic volunteer satisfaction and performance assessments
- Collaborating with the leadership team to foster a positive, mission-driven culture
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Experience in volunteer management or related field
- Passion for helping families in need
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in volunteer management or a similar field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
