Network Engineer Sr Principal (TS/SCI with Poly Required)

Responsibilities

• Design and document network architecture.
• Configure routers and managed switches.
• Install, configure and manage network services including LDAP, DHCP, DNS, File Servers, and License Servers.
• Perform daily oversight of compute networks and network services.
• Perform installation, configuration, and management of Windows and Linux based computer systems.
• Install vendor software patches and update software repositories.
• Perform data backups and restorations.
• Provide end user support.
• Perform daily oversight of computer systems administration.
• Create and manage a virtualized computing environment, including installation and configuration of hardware, Linux OS, virtualized environment, and storage environment.
• Install vendor upgrades and patches, and run system scanning tools.
• Create and manage instances in a cloud environment, including configuration, patching, and upgrading of cloud instances.
• Manage user accounts and accesses.
• Perform vulnerability scans and report results.

Requirements

• Experience in configuration and administration of a virtualized and storage environment.
• Experience with creating and managing instances in a cloud environment.
• Familiarity with cloud architecture.
• Experience with network and system security.
• US Citizenship.
• Active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
