Network Automation Engineer

About the role

The opportunity is to join a team that manages system infrastructure and applications. You will work on automation solutions, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure and application deployment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement automation solutions for system infrastructure and applications
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines
• Work closely with development and operations teams for smooth deployment and management
• Support sustainment and development of critical naval platforms
• Continue to strengthen DevSecOps skills

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with scripting languages like Bash, Python, JavaScript, Jinja2, or PowerShell
• 2+ years of experience with automation tools including Ansible
• Experience with network appliances such as Cisco, PaloAlto, or BigIP
• Experience with CI/CD toolsets like GitLab or Jenkins
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Experience with building, deployment, release automation, or orchestration
• Experience with provisioning and managing infrastructure and applications in on-premise and cloud environments (AWS, Azure)

Qualifications

• Secret clearance
• High school diploma or GED

Skills

• Experience with automating system configurations and orchestrating network operations
• Experience with scaling, releases, and day-to-day system operations in cloud environments
• Experience with JSON, YAML, or XML for configuration
• Ability to analyze business requirements for automated process workflows

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule

Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen's benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
