About the Role
Maximize equipment reliability and operational performance through proactive controls automation support. Troubleshoot complex control systems and analyze performance metrics. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in material handling equipment (MHE) systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize MHE and implement innovative projects. Work with state-of-the-art technology, including conveyors, sortation systems, and SCADA devices. Serve as the site expert for maintaining critical automation systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 2+ years of PLC programming or automation engineering experience
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Experience in PLC-based controls design, development, implementation, and support
- Understanding, maintaining, and troubleshooting material handling control systems, including PLC/PC controllers and industrial networks
- Experience in dealing with material handling, flow, and capacity
- Experience with industrial control systems, both hardware and software
