Network Automation Engineer

About the role

The opportunity is to join a team that manages system infrastructure and applications. You will work with a cross-functional team to develop and implement automation solutions, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, and work closely with development and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Automate tasks using scripting languages like Bash, Python, JavaScript, Jinja2, or PowerShell
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible
• Experience with network appliances like Cisco, PaloAlto, or BigIP
• Experience with CI/CD toolsets like GitLab or Jenkins
• Write Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Build, deploy, and manage automation for infrastructure and applications in on-premise and cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
• Support the sustainment and development of critical naval platforms

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with scripting languages to automate tasks
• 2+ years of experience with automation tools
• Experience with CI/CD toolsets
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with provisioning and managing infrastructure and applications in multiple environments
• Clearance: Secret clearance required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

Skills

• JSON, YAML, or XML for configuration
• Analysis of business requirements for automated process workflows
• Automation and process improvement through holistic programming solutions

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule

Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen's benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.

Work Model

• Remote: Occasional in-person visits may be required.
• Hybrid: Frequent in-person visits to a Booz Allen facility.
